WEEK 3 RECORD

In week 3, I put out my Picks for all 16 games and had a record of 9-7. My total record on the season is now 29-19.

JAGUARS @ BENGALS  (TNF)

The Jacksonville Jaguars are heading to Cincinnati for their 1st prime time game of the season. This will be Trevor Lawrence’s NFL prime time debut. Jacksonville is 0-3, while the Bengals are 2-1, and are coming off of a win over the Steelers. Cincinnati is dealing with multiple injuries including Tee Higgins and Jesse Bates III.  It’s a rematch between Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence from the LSU v.s Clemon National Championship. Burrow won the 1st matchup and looks to do it again. In week 4 the Cincinnati Bengals grab the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

PANTHERS @ COWBOYS

The Carolina Panthers are heading into Dallas for week 4. Carolina is 3-0, while Dallas sits at 2-1. Christian McCaffrey went down in week 3 and will miss a few weeks, while McCaffrey is out the rookie Chuba Hubbard will start. Sam Darnold has had a resurrection in Carolina and is connecting with his receivers. Dak Prescott is returning from his injury in 2020, and is playing phenomenally. The offense is coming together again, and the defense is surprising a lot of people. In week 4 the Carolina Panthers grab the win over the Dallas Cowboys.

BROWNS @ VIKINGS

The Cleveland Browns are heading to Minnesota for their week 4 matchup with the Vikings. Cleveland has looked good as of late. Nick Chubb is 3rd in rushing yards so far this season. Odell Beckham Jr just returned in week 3 and the defense continues to dominate. Minnesota has had close game, and Kirk Cousins has kept them in. Dalvin is banged up and has been limited. In week 4 the Cleveland Browns grab the win over the Minnesota Vikings.

LIONS @ BEARS

The Detroit Lions have struggled to start the season, starting 0-3. Moving in from Matthew Stafford and going with Jared Goff has been a major downgrade. The Bears have had a confusing start to their season. Andy Dalton went down, Justin Fields came in, and was sacked 9 times in his debut. A huge bounce back game for Justin Fields is looming in week 4. In week 4 the Chicago Bears grab the win over the Detroit Lions.

TEXANS @ BILLS

The Houston Texans got off to a quick start beating the Jaguars but have struggled since. Tyrod Taylor went down with an injury, which forced 3rd round rookie Davis Mills to start in week 3. The Buffalo Bills are 2-1, and surprisingly not feeding Stefon Diggs. Josh Allen hasn’t left his stride and is leading his team once again this season. In week 4 the Buffalo Bills grab the win over the Houston Texans.

COLTS @ DOLPHINS

The Indianapolis Colts have dealt with a lot of issues in the early season. Quarterback Carson Wentz has been banged up and Running Back Jonathan Taylor can’t get anything going in the redzone.  The Dolphins are another team who have struggled. After their week 1 victory over the Patriots it’s been Jacoby Brisset in at QB, with Tua Tagovailoa being injured. Jaylen Waddle has been the constant in their offense and will get everyone else going in this rebound game at home. In week 4 the Miami Dolphins grab the win over the Indianapolis Colts.

CHIEFS @ EAGLES

The Kansas City Chiefs have started this season badly, they are 1-2 and heading into Philadelphia. Tyreek Hill has constantly been doubled and only Travis Kelce has been producing. Mahomes has struggled and his miracle passes have gone agaisnt his so far this season. The Philadelphia Eagles have also gotten off to a shaky start. After their dominant 32-6 victory over the Falcons in week 1 they have struggled. Jalen Hurts hanst played exceptionally well and Nick Sirianni has had trouble making the right play calls. In week 4 the Kansas City Chiefs grab the win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

GIANTS @ SAINTS

The New York Giants have also been a team who have struggled and have lost close games. Penalties and drops cost them the game against the WFT, and once again against the Falcons. Another 0-3 start for the Giants isn’t anything new for the team or for the fans. The New Orleans Saints finally are able to have their season opener after a hurricane, fire in the Stadium and an away game. Jameis Winston has been hit or miss, but the offense looks to continue what they had going against the Patriots in week 3, this week against the Giants. In week 4 the New Orleans Saints grab the win over the New York Giants.

WFT @ FALCONS

The Washington Football Team have had their ups and downs this season, with Taylor Heinicke at the helm. Antonio Gibson hasn’t been given the opportunities to continue what he did in 2020 and the defense is not what everyone expected they would be. The Atlanta Falcons were really struggling without Julio Jones. Kyle Pitts isn’t producing and Calvin Ridley isn’t getting the opportunities. In week 4 the Washington Football Team grab the win over the Atlanta Falcons.

CARDINALS @ RAMS

The Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams are both 3-0. Arizona has had a fast start behind Kyler who is giving everyone the ball. Good sign early coming out of Arizona. The Rams were a superbowl favorite going into the season, and are living up to it thus far. Matthew Stafford has played lights out and his receiver Cooper Kupp has been unstoppable. In week 4 the Los Angeles Rams grab the win over the Arizona Cardinals.

SEAHAWKS @ 49ERS

The Seattle Seahawks have started the season poorly. They are in last place in their division and a loss to the 49ers could cost them a playoff appearance. Tyler Lockett has been the sole light on that team thus far. The San Francisco 49ers had a rough week 1 almost allowing the Lions to comeback. Then in week 2 they played shaky against the Eagles. Brandon Aiyuk’s absence in the passing game has really affected the team drastically. In week 4 the San Francisco 49ers grab the win over the Seattle Seahawks.

RAVENS @ BRONCOS

The Baltimore Ravens have played well behind Lamar Jackson. Close game after close game after close game have the Ravens at 2-1. Nearly being 0-3 the Ravens have a lot to work on and improve on. The Denver Broncos have started the season 0-3. It’s hard to get a grasp of the Broncos,  because they have only play the Jets, Giants, and Jaguars who are all 0-3. In week 4 the Denver Broncos grab the win over the Baltimore Ravens.

STEELERS @ PACKERS

The Pittsburgh Steelers have started 1-2. It’s been scary to watch how Ben Roethlisberger has played, because of the poor play from his team. The Packers have also started a little rough, but after another Rodgers miracle they are still at 2-1. This is the 1st meeting between Ben and Rodgers since they met in the superbowl. In week 4 the Green Bay Packers grab the win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

BUCCANEERS @PATRIOTS  (SNF)

Brady is returning home to Foxborough to take on his former team and head coach Bill Belichick. All of Brady’s success took place in New England and now he is returning with is new team. This battle between Bill Belichick and Tom Brady could be more of a mental aspect than a team play aspect. In week 4 the New England Patriots grab the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

RAIDERS @ CHARGERS  (MNF)

The Las Vegas Raiders have started 3-0 and have played well. Grabbing a win over the Ravens and having Derek Carr show out have bolstered their team. The Chargers are coming off of a win over the Kansas City Chiefs and with Justin Herbert and Mike Williams growing their connection, they are a sneaky good team. In week 4 the Los Angeles Chargers grab the win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

LOCK OF THE WEEK 🔐

My LOCK OF THE WEEK for week 4 is the Buffalo Bills.
