DIVISIONS

NFC EAST

The NFC East has been one of the worst divisions in the NFL as of late. This season could be a turning point for this division starting with week 1. Here are my NFL predictions for the NFC EAST teams.

Washington Football Team

The Washington Football Team won the NFC EAST last season at 7-9. Washington made a few big free agent moves and a couple more in the draft. Signing Ryan Fitzpatrick and Curtis Samuel for the offense, along with drafting Jamin Davis for their defense. The main concern is solely which Fitzpatrick will we see in 2021? Below is my week by week prediction for the Washington Football Team’s 2021-2022 season.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles had a failure of a season last year falling to 4-11-1. The team got rid of Carson Wentz and are now riding with Jalen Hurts. The Eagles also drafted Hurts’ former Alabama teammate DeVonta Smith. They also added a safety in Anthony Harris and a offensive lineman in Landon Dickerson. The biggest question surrounding the Eagles is can Hurts be the guy? Below is my week by week prediction for the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2021-2022 season.

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys had a rough 2020-2021 season due to injuries included a injury that put QB Dak Presscott out for the entire season. Dallas will be looking to bounce back this year, but will Dak be 100% healthy? Will Zeke get back to 2016 Zeke? Will the defense be able to step up and improve? These are all major questions surrounding the Cowboys. Below is my week by week prediction for the Dallas Cowboys 2021-2022 season.

New York Giants

The New York Giants had a very productive offseason. The additions of Kenny Golladay, Kyle Rudolph, and Kadarius Toney put all eyes on QB Daniel Jones. Daniel Jones hasn’t been what the Giants wanted or expected, and this year could be his last if he doesn’t show major improvements. Below is my week by week prediction for the New York Giants 2021-2022 season.

NFC WEST

The NFC WEST has been the toughest division in the league recently. All 4 teams battle back and forth fighting for each divisional game, because that 1 game is usually the difference in the division. Here are my NFL predictions for the NFC WEST teams.

San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers were destroyed by injuries last season. Countless injuries to both sides of the ball, caused numerous players to lose time. They get everyone back this season, and they added a quarterback to the roster. They drafted Trey Lance with the 3rd overall pick and it doesn’t seem like he will sit long. Below is my week by week prediction for the San Francisco 49ers 2021-2022 season.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams made one of the biggest moves this offseason. They traded away Jared Goff and multiple picks in exchange for Matthew Stafford. Acquiring Stafford put the Rams on the top of many people super bowl’s radar. The Rams also acquired Desean Jackson and TuTu Atwell to add to their receiving core. Below is my week by week prediction for the Los Angeles Rams 2021-2022 season.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks didn’t make any major upgrades to the team, but they are still a top team. As long as Russ is behind center Seattle will always be a contender. Below is my week by week prediction for the Seattle Seahawks 2021-2022 season.

Arizona Cardinals

Lately, the Arizona Cardinals have been hyped due to the recent acquisition of DHOP. The Cardinals didn’t live up to the hype last season, but are looking to do it this season. The team added defensive end J.J Watt and now being hyped up once again. Below is my week by week prediction for the Arizona Cardinals 2021-2022 season.

NFC NORTH

The Green Bay Packers have been on top of the NFC North for a very long time, and haven’t had much competition. The rest of the division is looking to catch up and dethrone the Packers. Here are my NFL predictions for the NFC NORTH teams.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers were the talk of the NFL in the offseason. All of the ongoing drama and rumors surrounding Aaron Rodgers the Packers were under a microscope. Aaron Rodgers return to the Packers looks like it’s going to be his last. Below is my week by week prediction for the Green Bay Packers 2021-2022 season.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bear might have just found their franchise QB. Justin Fields arrival in Chicago could be just what they needed, but he’s not starting. The Bears didn’t choose to start Fields but he is the definite future. Can Justin Fields be the guy to help the Bears dethrone the packers. Below is my week by week prediction for the Chicago Bears 2021-2022 season.

Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings found a superstar receiver in Justin Jefferson, who they drafted in last year’s draft. Jefferson broke the Vikings receiving yards record and dethroned Randy Moss. The team was led by Dalvin Cook last year and are looking for another breakout year from Cook and Jefferson. Below is my week by week prediction for the Minnesota Vikings 2021-2022 season.

Detroit Lions

Detroit lost their franchise quarterback Matthew Stafford who has been their his entire career. Stafford was traded and the Lions acquired Jared Goff from the Rams. Goff isn’t on Stafford’s level but with Stafford being unhappy, the team set him free. The Lions lost both Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones Jr. in free agency. For the upcoming season the lions are relying heavily on sophmore tight end T.J Hockenson and rookie receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. Below is my week by week prediction for the Detroit Lions 2021-2022 season.

NFC SOUTH

The NFC SOUTH has the current reigning super bowl champions, in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rest of the south teams had major offseason in different ways. The entire division aside from the Bucs will be going into the 2021-2022 season with different teams. Here are my NFL predictions for the NFC SOUTH teams.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa is coming off of a super bowl win. There isn’t much to say about the buccaneers since they brought all of their starters back and haven’t changed much. Below is my week by week prediction for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2021-2022 season.

Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panther could be on the horizon to have a breakout season. They are relying on newly acquired QB Sam Darnold. Darnold is reuniting with former teammate Robby Anderson and has a team around him. He is entering a team with a steady offense and a young and talented defense, that he didn’t have in New York. Below is my week by week prediction for the Carolina Panthers 2021-2022 season.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are one of the most notable offseason teams. They lost QB Drew Brees, who finally decided to hang up his cleats. They will also be without WR Michael Thomas for the first 6 weeks of the season. The team is heavily relying on Alvin Kamara to control the offense and rely on Jameis Winston’s quarterback play. Below is my week by week prediction for the New Orleans Saints 2021-2022 season.

Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are a interesting team this upcoming season. They had the most notable loss this year, next to Drew Brees. Julio Jones was traded this offseason and is now playing for the Tennessee Titans. Losing Julio puts Matt Ryan in trouble because Julio was his reliable guy no matter what. Below is my week by week prediction for the Atlanta Falcons 2021-2022 season.

AFC EAST

The AFC EAST is a very interesting division to watch. Every QB is 25 years old or younger. Multiple teams have a lot to figure out, to make sure they can contend in the AFC. Here are my NFL predictions for the AFC EAST teams.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills took over the AFC EAST last season as the Patriots fell. The Bills are looking to build their dynasty in the EAST after Brady and the Pats have fallen. Josh Allen is now the oldest QB in the division and his connection with newly acquired WR Stefon Diggs can only grow. Below is my week by week prediction for the Buffalo Bills 2021-2022 season.

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are a question mark this season, due to many rumors surrounding their quarterback. The Miami Dolphins were rumored as favorite to land Deshaun Watson, but their head coach continues to back Tua. Additionally, they added WR Will Fuller, and WR Jaylen Waddle to both help improve and rise Tua’s game. Below is my week by week prediction for the Miami Dolphins 2021-2022 season.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots did something they haven’t done since Drew Bledsoe. They drafted a quarterback in the 1st round, Mac Jones who was taken 15th overall in the 2021 NFL draft. Drafting Jones started a quarterback competition between himself and Cam Newton. The competition wasn’t close as the patriots released Cam, and will now start Jones. Below is my week by week prediction for the New England Patriots 2021-2022 season.

New York Jets

The New York Jets have struggled as of late. They have been bouncing around and trying to figure out something to get the team going. They hired Robert Saleh to be their new head coach and drafted their own guy Zach Wilson. Now with Sam Darnold shipped out they can start fresh. In the draft they secured a RB in Michael Carter and WR in Elijah Moore. In addition they added Corey Davis to the WR room. The defense dropped 2 key players, which deflated some of the hype. Below is my week by week prediction for the New York Jets 2021-2022 season.

AFC WEST

The AFC WEST has been run by the Chiefs as of late but their does look like competition is coming for them. The west is lead by the best QB in the league in Patrick Mahomes. Now, the reigning rookie of the year Justin Herbert looks to bring the heat. Derek Carr is still trying to prove himself and Teddy Bridgewater is battling with Drew Lock. Here are my NFL predictions for the AFC WEST teams.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have been to 2 consecutive super bowl’s and are looking for number 3. Going into the new season the Chiefs have a revamped oline. The Chiefs look to continue their dominance in the AFC. Below is my week by week prediction for the Kansas City Chiefs 2021-2022 season.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers have a very high upside going into this season. Justin Herbert took home ROTY last season and will be looking for a sophomore season leap. The oline was also bolstered and will be on a next level to protect Herbert. Looking to dethrone the Chiefs in the WEST, the Chargers will be lead by Herbert. Below is my week by week prediction for the Los Angeles Chargers 2021-2022 season.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders are interesting to watch in the WEST. The team is young and the offense is led by Darren Waller. Darren “The Baller” Waller is a top 3 TE in the league and carries the Raiders offense. Derek Carr and the rest of the offense needs to improve in order for them to have any chance. Below is my week by week prediction for the Las Vegas Raiders 2021-2022 season.

Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have been at the bottom of their division for a few years now. After the departure of Peyton Manning and their dominant defense, they have struggled. Bringing in QB Teddy Bridgewater to compete with Drew Lock, brought something new to the locker room. Teddy Bridgewater has won the job, but their schedule is still tough. Below is my week by week prediction for the Denver Broncos 2021-2022 season.

AFC NORTH

The AFC NORTH was run by the Steel City for a long time. Over the past few years the Ravens and Browns got their franchise QB’s are started to compete. The Bengals are a very young team but still have a chnace. The AFC NORTH could be turned upside down if the Steelers give up their reign. Here are my NFL predictions for the AFC NORTH teams.

Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns have been one of the worst NFL teams for a long time. Their loyal fans have kept the spirit and have always supported them. Recently, it’s payed off as the Browns have turned their franchise and team around. Led by QB Baker Mayfield and RB Nick Chubb along with their former LSU WR’s in Odell and Jarvis. The Browns made the playoffs for the 1st since 2002. Now the Browns look to continue their recent dominance. Below is my week by week prediction for the Cleveland Browns 2021-2022 season.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have dominated the AFC NORTH behind Big Ben. Now with Big Ben almost out the door the Steelers are starting to fall and might be out of the door as well. The Steelers are leaning on their dominant defense, as well as Big Ben in one of his last seasons. As Ben departures in the upcoming years the Steelers are looking for 1 more ring. Below is my week by week prediction for the Pittsburgh Steelers 2021-2022 season.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens were always known for their defense and how good it was. Their defense hasn’t liven up to their name as of late, however their team has played well overall. They found their franchise QB Lamar Jackson who took the reigns from Joe Flacco. Lamar is a duel threat QB that really opens and brightens their offenses horizon. Below is my week by week prediction for the Baltimore Ravens 2021-2022 season.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals haven’t had much success coming out of their division, but they are hopeful for their future. Led by new QB Joe Burrow the Bengals want to prove something to everyone. The team lost their best player from the past decade in A.J Green, but brought in Joe Burrow’s former LSU WR Ja’Marr Chase. Below is my week by week prediction for the Cincinnati Bengals 2021-2022 season.

AFC SOUTH

The AFC SOUTH has been a division that’s been up in the air as of late but it does look like Tennessee is taking over. The Jaguars do however have a young and talented QB coming right out of the draft in Trevor Lawrence. The Colts and Texans have problems at the QB position and are looking to gain some stability at the position. Here are my NFL predictions for the AFC SOUTH teams.

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans have been on the upside lately and aren’t slowing down anytime soon. The Titans don’t have much competition in their division as they continue to add to their already stacked offense. At the helm of the offense they have QB Ryan Tannehill, RB Derrick Henry, and WR’s A.J Brown and Julio Jones. The off-season acquisition of Julio Jones just shows how powerful and unstoppable this offense will be for years to come. Below is my week by week prediction for the Tennessee Titans 2021-2022 season.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected their franchise QB Trevor Lawrence with their 1st overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. The Jaguars also drafted RB Travis Etienne who played at Clemson with Lawrence. Etienne suffered a season ending injury in the preseason. The Jaguars are facing an uphill climb to have any chance at their division. Below is my week by week prediction for the Jacksonville Jaguars 2021-2022 season.

Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts had a QB change once again as Phillip Rivers retired and they traded for Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz injured his foot already and was also placed on the covid-19 list. The problems Wentz brings to the team are far more than what his skills bring. The problems the Colts face but them in 3rd in their division. Below is my week by week prediction for the Indianapolis Colts 2021-2022 season.

Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have acquired problem after problem this offseason. QB Deshaun Watson requested a trade from the team and not long after was he accused of multiple allegations. Watson is facing sexual assault lawsuits from multiple women. Deshaun Watson is facing 22 civil lawsuits and the Texans still aren’t listening to calls. These issues are going to cause numerous problems entering 2021 surrounding Deshaun Watson, and the lawsuits he faces.
