The “sneaky” aspect of fantasy football might seem sneaky to me and not you, or vice versa. We are all in different fantasy leagues; some may have larger rosters, but we can all play who we feel gives our team the best chance to win. This week, I’ll provide my three weekly sneaky starters that you may not have on your radar or kept on your bench the last couple of weeks.

Devonta Smith

Devonta burst onto the scene in week one with an awe-inspiring touchdown catch and even more impressive debut. Finishing with 19.10 fantasy points in his NFL debut, the initial expectations from fantasy managers were met.

Smith followed up his debit with a disappointing week two and three. But the former Heisman winner will look to bounce back in a highly favorable matchup this week. The Kansas City Chiefs rank in the bottom half of the NFL regarding fantasy points allowed to W.R.s. They have continued to get torched by outside receivers as well.

Last week, Mike Williams lit up the K.C. secondary for over 30 fantasy points. His teammate, Keenan Allen, was not held in check either, finding his way into the endzone.

The matchup for Smith this week is a good one, and he probably isn’t someone you’re particularly confident in starting this week, but you should. At least one side, the Chiefs, are going to score a lot of points. That bodes well for a game script that should benefit the Eagle’s pass catchers.

O.J. Howard

Rob Gronkowski has given fantasy owners a considerable boost to begin the season. The Gronk is currently the number two ranked tight end through the first three weeks of the season. His connection with Tom Brady is legit, but no one, and I mean no one, saw this meteoric type of season coming.

O.J. Howard will see an elevated opportunity in a “revenge” game for Tom Brady; Rob Gronkowski has officially been ruled as “doubtful” ahead of Sunday night’s matchup. Expect a few more opportunities and a much higher touchdown upside from Howard this week.

Rondale Moore

The Cardinals air-raid offense has shown its wings so far this season. Kyler Murray has torched opposing defenses on their way to a hot 3-0 start. Their improvements on the outside have proved very beneficial. A.J. Green is a solid veteran presence that should help this team in other ways than solely on the field. Christian Kirk is off to the best start to a season of his young career, and young slot man Rondale moor seems to have established a connection with the Q.B.

His first three games have proven that he has the trust of his QB, Kyler Murray. He also has established the trust of his coach, as he has seen more and more snaps each week.

Look for Moore to threaten and potentially hit a big play this weekend in a game that could be full of them. This matchup vs. the Rams will also provide a lot of firepower for your lineup this week, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Moore make a significant impact in this game. Start him.
